2. Study the Big Business & Labor group guides done in class with the Wealthiest Americans packet and the textbook. Be prepared to present your information the next class.

Service Learning 8/11 Activities

Review and write down meaning of:
-empathy
-patronize

Review last journal on "Everybody can be great."
Discuss results of Service Survey:
-top areas were kids, medical, & elderly- Why?
Was it because lacked information on other fields or was it because of where you have talents? Think about your talents and what role they play.

What inspires your service? Describe an act of kindness someone else did for you. What was it? How did it change you?

Introduce "Same Kind of Different As Me" and read chapters 1 & 2 and answer questions in your journal.
