Review last journal on "Everybody can be great."
Discuss results of Service Survey:
-top areas were kids, medical, & elderly- Why?
Was it because lacked information on other fields or was it because of where you have talents? Think about your talents and what role they play.
What inspires your service? Describe an act of kindness someone else did for you. What was it? How did it change you?
Quote for the day: Ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country (and the global community.- John F. Kennedy
Introduce "Same Kind of Different As Me" and read chapters 1 & 2 and answer questions in your journal.
Write exit ticket on either how your "random act of service" affected others or made you feel.
